Sliced Beef Steak (Tagliata di Manzo)

€ 24.00

Tagliata di Manzo is a classic Italian dish, known for its thinly sliced beef served rare or medium-rare, seasoned with herbs and spices, and accompanied by fresh sides. The preparation begins with a high-quality cut of beef, preferably from the most tender parts like sirloin or Florentine steak. The meat is marinated with extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, fresh rosemary, and ground black pepper, and left to rest for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Next, the meat is grilled over high heat, either on a grill or hot griddle, for a few minutes on each side, until a golden crust forms on the outside while the inside remains tender and juicy. Once cooked, the meat is allowed to rest for a few minutes, then sliced thinly against the grain to enhance tenderness.

Tagliata di Manzo is served hot, with a sprinkle of coarse salt and optionally chopped fresh parsley on top. It is often accompanied by fresh arugula, cherry tomatoes, shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
